Truck Driver - Class 5

Employer with a fleet of trucks based in their yard at Wiri are seeking an experience Class 5 Truck Driver to join their busy team.
Key Duties: -Safely operate truck on the road transporting goods as is required. -Timely operation of the truck to ensure delivery time targets are met. -Performing inspections on the truck before and after driving to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate and is not damaged. -Maintain accurate driving records to ensure compliance with land transport requirements. -Doing lifting of items as required depending on the job at hand. -Report any breakdowns or accidents to the Manager immediately to ensure a safe operation on New Zealand roads. -Working with other stakeholders as required to ensure a smooth operation. -Collaborating with emergency services and law enforcement as needed. -Ensure the truck is kept in a clean, neat and tidy manner. -Have great communication skills, be honest, well presented and be physically fit, healthy and professional.

Job Requirements
Must have a valid Class 5 license with Dangerous Goods. Must pass a police check/MOJ check. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Must be physically fit, reliable, and available for the working hours and days.
