Road Traffic Controller

SOUTHLAND/BALCLUTHA: Our local employer is looking for 4 x Full-time Traffic Management TTM TMO or STMS will also look at anyone without experience as we have inhouse training available to join our team in Balclutha.

You don't need previous experience with TTM to work with us. There have been exciting changes to our industry training, and we are looking for candidates who want to make TTM their new career.

If you're fit, willing to work, keen on an outdoor work environment and have a minimum Restricted Class 1 licence, we want to hear from you.

While this is an entry level position, you will need to be capable of working through the new training pathway to STMS Cat A & B Practicing level (we have all the internal staff needed to help you through this). Obtain the new NZ Certificate in Temporary Traffic Management.

Days and hours: • Days to be discussed at interview stage, but you will be working 5 days a week. • This role offers 35 hours per week.

Pay Rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience.

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • Be Physically Fit • Full or Restricted class 1 drivers’ licence and must be able to drive a manual vehicle. • Have a recent CV with contactable references • You must be willing to work and turn up when required • You must be able to pass a police check and pre-employment drug test and medical, as part of the employment process. • Hold New Zealand citizenship or have New Zealand Permanent Residency.
