About this job
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, professional welcome from check-in through to departure. You will help create memorable experiences by delivering exceptional service, handling enquiries, managing reservations, and confidently upselling hotel facilities.
Key responsibilities: -Efficiently manage guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accuracy and professionalism -Provide attentive, friendly service to all guests and respond promptly to enquiries -Manage phone calls, emails, and reservation requests with accuracy and efficiency -Complete cashiering functions, including billing, payments, and daily balancing -Promote and upsell hotel facilities, restaurant services, and local attractions Resolve guest requests or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Expected Attendance (Days and Time of Work): Flexibility to work rotational AM and PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays. AM is 7am to 3:15pm and PM is 2pm to a variable finish time.

Job Requirements
1- Have at least 6 months previous experience as a Receptionist, preferably in a Hotel, and that noted on your up to date CV. 2- Consent to an MOJ check - any Criminal convictions will be considered on a case by case basis. 3-Be drug free in order to pass any drug testing. 4- Have flexibility to work rotational AM and PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
The ideal applicant will be someone who thrives in a customer-facing role and team environment, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and work confidently with computers, a professional, approachable, and guest-focused manner and resilience, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
