Reception and Administration/Parts Person

A New Plymouth employer is seeking a mature and reliable individual for a combined Parts, Reception, and Administration role. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, processing invoices, ordering parts, preparing estimates, answering phone calls, handling receipts, bookings, and payments, as well as undertaking stocktakes. The role will also occasionally require completing deliveries, which involves heavy lifting. A mature attitude and strong computer literacy are essential. Knowledge of car parts is highly beneficial.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (half-hour lunch), totaling 40 hours per week.
Requirements • Ability to pass a drug test and Ministry of Justice check • Knowledge of car parts (beneficial) • Strong computer literacy (essential) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and occasional car washing • Positive attitude and professional presentation • Full Class 1 driver licence
The position starts at minimum wage, with some training available for the right candidate.
