Tow Truck Driver
About this job
Towing company based in Manurewa are seeking 2x Tow Truck Drivers to join their team. The towing area covers Auckland to Whangarei so you must be willing to travel outside of Auckland when needed.
Your key responsibilities: -Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles from breakdowns, accident scenes, and private properties. -Respond promptly to dispatch calls and customer requests. -Secure vehicles properly using towing equipment and safety chains. -Perform vehicle recovery and roadside assistance when required. -Maintain accurate trip records, delivery logs, and service reports. -Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness. -Follow all company policies, road safety, and compliance regulations. -Provide excellent customer service during all interactions. -Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately. -Do general mechanical and car dismantling duties when required.
You must be confident to operate and drive a 6-speed manual gearbox towing truck. Basic training is provided.

Job Requirements
Must hold a valid full class 2 driver license. Must have a valid forklift license. Must have tow truck driving experience. Must pass drug test and police check. You must be confident to operate and drive a 6-speed manual gearbox towing truck. Basic training is provided.
