Cafe All-Rounder

A local Nelson Cafe is looking for an all-rounder to join their dynamic team. You will need to have some cooking skills and kitchen experience. This role is to work during the busy periods eg: 11am-1.30 or 4-8pm, over the 7days from now until approx. mid January. The ideal candidate will also have great customer service skills, be willing to learn all aspects of the role and be flexible with working hours. Duties include but are not limited to: • Food service – preparing and serving food to customers • Preparing coffee (Training provided if necessary) • Dishwashing and cleaning • Greeting Customers and taking orders The cafe is open 7 days a week from 7.30am – 9.00pm and shifts are rostered. Your pay will be based on your skills and experience. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of safe food handling and hygiene standards, along with maintaining high levels of personal cleanliness as this is a front-of-house role.
