TRANSPORT COMPANY MANAGER Main tasks Organising the transportation of our goods so everything runs smoothly and on time Scheduling vehicles and drivers to ensure jobs are covered each day Working with our clients and suppliers to build great relationships and arrange contracts Supervising the activities of drivers and other staff, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations Oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs so our fleet stays in top condition Help track costs and look for efficiencies in the business Review our operational procedures in order to improve the way we do things, set up new policies if needed.
Job Requirements
Our requirements Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the transport industry. A related qualification is a plus, although not essential. Must have carried a clean class 2 or Heavy Vehicle license for minimum of 3 years. We will consider overseas applicants with suitable verifiable experience and licence.
- Days of work
- Monday to Friday. Rostered on every second weekend. (40 hours per week)
