About this job

As a Logistics Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly. We are looking for someone who has experience de-vanning containers, operating a forklift, picking and preparing orders; yard maintenance and stock take. This is a physically demanding role working mostly outside in the elements.

Reporting to the Branch Distribution Manager, your responsibilities will include: - Picking and packing customer orders efficiently and accurately. - Receiving and storing goods safely and following MPI requirements. - Maintaining a tidy and organized yard, ensuring all tools and consumables are in their proper place. - Assisting with stock taking and promoting health and safety practices. - Providing excellent customer service and delivery, upholding the company's values in all interactions.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities: - Outward Goods: Pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch. - Inward Goods: Check, unpack, and store received goods. - Stock Taking: Assist with monthly rotating stock counts. - Health and Safety: Champion safe practices and report hazards. - Customer Service: Deliver products and assist customers professionally. - Yard Maintenance: Keep the yard neat and tidy, organized according to company policies. - Other Duties: Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by management. - Current Forklift Licence and experience a requirement.

Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm approx (42.5 hours per week)
