Vineyard Worker - Summer Work

We are searching for fit and motivated individuals to join our vineyard team over the summer period. Experience is preferred but not compulsory as full training can be given. Tasks include bud rubbing, wire lifting, shoot thinning, leaf plucking, bird netting, trellising maintenance and other seasonal tasks as required such as harvest and fruit thinning. While some transport options are available, candidates with a full licence and their own transport will be prioritised as work will be carried out at various vineyards across the Marlborough region. Opportunities for part time roles available with set days however, school hours are not available for this role. Transport could be provided if you do not have your own. Work available from ASAP through till February 2026. Pay rate - $23.50 per hour or opportunities for higher remuneration on piece rate.

The successful applicant/s will be fit, healthy and motivated. With the ability to be on your feet for up to 9 hours per day, working 5 days and a minimum of 25 hours per week. Availability required throughout non-stat days in December and January within reason. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and complete online application process independently. CV's must be supplied to be considered. Convictions cannot be accepted. All candidates need to be able to work through Christmas and New Year period. Public holidays will not be worked, however weekend work will be included over this period. You must have the ability to complete online onboarding via online portal and have a reliable means of communication with Supervisor regarding work location, pick up times etc.
