The Orchard Team Member is responsible for carrying out a variety of operational orchard management tasks throughout the year to meet seasonal and business requirements.

This role involves hands on work across different stages of the orchard cycle, ensuring high quality fruit production and the overall success of orchard operations.

Job Requirements

Organised with good time-management and prioritisation skills Conduct winter pruning select new/primary canes with mature buds Carry out summer pruning manage canopy light by removing excess vegetative canes. Complete male pruning remove old flowered laterals to retain light and promote spur wood growth. Perform thinning remove damaged, misshapen, or undersized fruit to achieve grade standards. Support orchard development through pruning, girdling, pollination, fertilising, and planting. Comply with all health, safety, and orchard hygiene requirements. Clear MOJ and Drug checks
