Retail SECURITY NIGHT Shift Team Leader - Albany

Shifts will be between the hours of 1900-0700

Key Responsibilities: • Lead and motivate a team of security guards during the night shift, ensuring a positive team culture and high standard of conduct • Be a visible and approachable presence, deterring theft, unauthorised behaviour, and ensuring site safety • Act as the point of contact for site management, customers, and staff on all after-hours security matters • Cover CCTV/Control Room shifts alongside team leader shifts as needed • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring timely and effective escalation and reporting • Manage shift handovers and provide accurate, detailed incident and operational reports • Ensure the asset protection and safety of the facility • Promote and support a culture of health, safety, and compliance with Red Badge Group and client policies

• Previous experience (1 or more years) in a people leadership or supervisor role, ideally within security, facilities, events, retail or hospitality industries. • Previous CCTV or CONTROL ROOM EXPERIENCE is required, and the ability to learn new systems as needed. • Current NZ COA licence, or relevant equivalent leadership experience in the security sector. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with clients and teams from diverse backgrounds. • Ability to make informed and critical decisions as needed and be able to escalate efficiently • Knowledge of security best practice, compliance, health and safety and risk management requirements. • Must be available to work on a 4 shifts on 3 shifts off roster which will include at least 1 weekend night. • Competency with incident reporting and documentation. • CLEAN criminal conviction record and PHYSICALLY FIT for the demands of the role. • Eligibility to work in New Zealand and a minimum age of 18 years. • Full Clean New Zealand Drivers Licence MUST BE PRESENTABLE, FIT AND HEALTHY
