Apple Trimming Workers - Gisborne
About this job
We’re looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our team for apple tree trimming work in Matawhero. The job involves using hand tools (scissors, shears, or pruners) to trim and shape trees, remove dead branches, and help improve tree health and airflow. This is outdoor work, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in all weather conditions and enjoy being part of a team.
Once trimming is finished, there may be opportunities to move into apple picking or packhouse work at the same site.
Job Requirements
Experience in agriculture, dairy, or farming preferred Physically fit – able to bend, lift, and working on ladders Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions reliable transport getting to work Must pass drug & alcohol screening Clean criminal record Good English communication skills to follow instructions and Health & Safety procedures Reliable and punctual
