This position is responsible for contributing to the delivery of excellent customer service by ensuring the efficient, timely and accurate movement of vehicles and equipment into and out of our yards along with ensuring that our reputation as a professional business is upheld by ensuring our yard, equipment and vehicles are presented to a high standard at all times. OPERATIONAL Complete inspections of all incoming and outbound cars for damage and complete the appropriate paperwork for each inspection. Identify and notify your supervisor of any damage or inconsistencies with all products/equipment that have been received on site. Responsible for ensuring that the required documentation for all vehicles (including new cars) that are leaving the depot/site is completed accurately and left in the vehicle ready for the Driver to collect when they collect the vehicle. Receive and park all inbound vehicles, trailers, caravans, boats and any other items in the appropriate location within the depot/site. Prior to the arrival of each inbound linehaul vehicle ensure that the vehicles that are to be transported are prepared, inspected and lined up for loading and that the appropriate paperwork is in place. Undertake any tasks related to the logistics functions required by our customers, including but not limited to, washing, jump starts, battery charging, removing bird strike, tyre checks and interacting with customer third party contractors. Effectively manage all vehicles requiring special storage including but not limited to, MPI, Customs Hold, Customer special request holds, and ensure that any additional processes and documentation are completed. Moving vehicles and adjusting parking in storage as and when appropriate to ensure that there is maximum available storage space accessible at all times. As required, assist with loading and unloading trucks in accordance with the Truck Loading Code. Maintain a clean, rubbish free and well-presented company yard space at all times including but not limited to: - weeding, picking up rubbish, cleaning, physical maintenance, sweeping. Cleaning fleet vehicles to a high standard of professional appearance as directed by your supervisor.

Job Requirements

Have a clean Class 1 licence and a safe driving record. Be able to drive both manual and automatic cars. Be able to work overtime when required to allow us to meet the demands of our customers. From time to time, it may be necessary to consider changes in the job description in response to the changing nature of our work environment, including technology or statutory changes. The manager of this position may initiate such change as necessary. This job description may be reviewed as part of the preparation for performance planning for the annual performance cycle.

Days of work
The minimum ordinary hours of work for the employee shall be 40 hours, Monday to Sunday (as required). (40 hours per week)
