Senior Machine Operator
About this job
This is a senior, hands-on role for an expert operator who can deliver high-quality finishing work around structures and final surfaces. You’ll operate excavators, loaders, rollers, and other plant with precision, ensuring safety and excellence every time.
You will be responsible for: • Execute detailed finishing work to a high standard • Operate excavators, loaders, rollers safely and competently • Support lifting, placing loads, and daily site operations • Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance • Follow work plans, JSEAs, and uphold safety standards
Job Requirements
• We’re after someone who’s confident, capable, and a true team player. • You’ll need to bring solid civil experience to hit the ground running. • 5+ years’ experience operating heavy machinery in civil construction • Proven finishing expertise on large-scale projects • WTR endorsements and Class 2 licence (minimum) • Strong safety knowledge and team-first attitude
