Sawmill Labourer - Green Chain
About this job
Currently seeking a physically fit and healthy, enthusiastic individual to join a local lumber yard. Role is based in Mosgiel and an immediate start!
You will be working on the green chain, removing timber from the chain and stacking appropriately. Chain is covered but is outdoors so you must be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
No prior experience required, full training will be provided.
Job Requirements
- Applicants must be able to pass a pre employment drug test (this is compulsory) - Must be able to work in all weather conditions - Must be physically fit and healthy with no current injuries - Convictions will be on a case by case basis - Reliable transport to Mosgiel work location is a must. - Must be able to undertake regular heavy lifting. - Must be highly reliable. - Up to date presentable CV and two contactable references - Health and safety focused
