We have a Napier based employer looking for experienced Line Haul Truck Drivers to drive trucks around the country. You will be required to sleep in cab during 10 hour breaks when away from Hawkes Bay. Dangerous Goods endorsement and a Forklift OSH certificate are preferred but are not a must. The ideal candidate will have neat and tidy habits regarding personal appearance, condition of truck, and paperwork. Basic mechanical knowledge would be a plus. Employer is also looking for an honest, reliable individual with the ability to communicate effectively and use a smart phone. This is a smoke free work environment.
Job Requirements
A class 5 licence is essential. You will ideally have at least 3 years of experience driving class 5 trucks preferably with European Line Haul Trucks. You must also be able to pass a drug test. Convictions considered on a case by case basis.
