Support Worker - Tauranga
About this job
We are seeking empathetic and a motivated 2 x Part time Support Worker to join our specialist team in Tauranga. You will provide both practical and emotional support to help clients achieve their goals and maintain independence.
Your responsibilities may include: - meal preparation - personal care )showering, toileting, grooming) - administering medication - bowel management, manual handling, and hoist transfers - supporting community outings and social integration - home management and daily living support

Job Requirements
We are looking for
- positive attitude and genuine desire to support others - Previous caregiving or healthcare experience (desirable but not essential) - Computer literacy and ability to use Apps - Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work alternative weekends - High level of resilience, with an ability to cope with change and to be flexible - Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and a commitment to meeting the cultural needs of Maori - Healthcare qualifications are advantageous - be able to pass a MOJ check - Full NZ driver licence and reliable transport

- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday Morning 8 am to 11 am and evening 4 pm to 7 pm (20 hours per week)
