Kiwifruit Supervisor
About this job
The role of the Supervisor is supervise the orchard teams in daily operations including pruning, thinning, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting. Allocate tasks, prepare work rosters, and monitor productivity. Ensure work is performed in line with quality standards and health & safety requirements. Train and guide orchard workers on correct horticultural practices. Monitor orchard progress and report to senior management. Maintain accurate records of activities, staff performance, and orchard progress. Assist with planning seasonal workforce requirements.
Job Requirements
*Minimum of 6 months work experience OR a Level 1 or above qualification. *Must pass a Drug Test and Ministry of Justice check *Must also have own transport and a minimum of a Restricted Driver's Licence to get to work.
- Days of work
- Monday to Sunday. A weekly roster will be given to you. (30 hours per week)
