Mobile Patrol Officer - Christchurch Night Shift

Responsibilies Conduct regular mobile patrols of assigned premises, including commercial sites, retail centre's, and public spaces Perform lock and unlock procedures, perimeter checks, and internal inspections as required Respond rapidly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations across multiple sites Accurately record and report incidents, safety hazards, and maintenance issues Act as a visible deterrent to unauthorised access, theft, vandalism, and anti-social behaviour Deliver friendly, helpful customer service to clients, tenants, and members of the public Uphold the employers values, professional standards, and health & safety protocols

Current, clean full NZ driver’s licence Demonstrated reliability and a strong sense of responsibility Ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt to changing situations Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and calmness under pressure Flexibility for rostered shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays Previous experience in mobile patrol, static security, or customer service is an advantage Strong observation, reporting, and risk assessment skills Eligible to work in New Zealand and at least 18 years of age Hold, or be able to obtain, a current NZ COA (Certificate of Approval) security licence Physically fit and able to perform mobile patrol and site checks throughout the shift
