Civil Labourer
About this job
Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including excavation, concreting, paving, and earthworks.
Assist tradesmen (e.g., carpenters, masons, steel fixers, plumbers) as required.
Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Prepare and clean work areas before and after tasks.
Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, asphalt, and gravel.
Operate basic hand tools and small power equipment safely.
Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor or Engineer.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and site regulations.
Report any hazards, damages, or incidents promptly to supervisors.
Maintain good housekeeping on the site at all times.
Job Requirements
Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in various weather conditions.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Team-oriented with good communication and reliability.
Safety-conscious attitude; awareness of site safety procedures.
