TMP Designer
About this job
Seeking a skilled Traffic Management Plan (TMP) Designer. This position is responsible for designing, submitting, and managing compliant TMPs that ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic around construction and maintenance sites. You’ll provide expert advice, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure all TMPs meet CoPTTM and local authority standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and submit detailed, compliant TMPs that meet CoPTTM and RCA requirements.
Use traffic design software to produce clear, accurate, and professional plans.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to create practical and safe solutions.
Provide technical advice and risk assessments for complex TMP scenarios.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely submissions and approvals.
Review audit findings and incorporate feedback to improve future TMP designs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CoPTTM standards and industry best practices.
Foster strong communication and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in TMP design, submission, or coordination.
Strong knowledge of CoPTTM and local authority requirements.
Proficiency with TMP design or drafting software.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects and teams.
Success in this role will be measured by:
100% compliance with CoPTTM and RCA standards.
Timely approvals and minimal audit non-conformances.
Positive stakeholder feedback and effective TMP implementation.
