New Zealand Labour Hire is seeking reliable and experienced Hammer Hands to support several clients across the civil and construction sectors during the busy festive season and into the new year.
This is casual work.
These roles involve hands-on construction labour, so you must be physically fit and comfortable working on-site, assisting tradespeople, and carrying out general labouring duties as required.
To apply, you must meet the following requirements: • A couple of years of hands-on experience in the building/construction sector • Must have basic tools • Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check • A work mobile phone for short-term assignments • Own reliable transport • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test • Two recent work references • Flexibility to work days, nights, and be on-call • Two forms of ID (e.g. driver’s licence, passport, or birth certificate) • A current CV with up-to-date work history, referees, and contact details
Additionally, Site Safe certification is an advantage, as is previous experience in civil or commercial construction environments.
