Front of house duty manager
About this job
Being responsible for running the restaurant, wait staff are on task, kitchen is on task, ambience, liquor licence responsibilities being meet. Checking staffing levels are correct for your upcoming shifts and for the week. Pulling staff up when they break service cycles, perform their duties incorrectly, explain what’s wrong and why that’s not acceptable, logging these so we can follow up. Assist with bartending, waiting tables, dishes on very busy days (as required). Keeping an inventory on all beverage stock (what’s low, what’s out (List always up to date). Correctly checking all stock coming in, check vintage on wine, and varietals are accurate to our beverage lists. Invoices are filed correctly, stock is continuously put away correctly, and Manager is made aware if any new or wrong stock comes in. Oversee all bar operations, accuracy of beverage glass or cup ware, tastes, texture, temperature. Stock ordering, keeping stock control up to date moving in and out as
Job Requirements
LCQ Certificate and ability to obtain Duty Mangers license
