Assistant Restaurant Manager
About this job
Ensure exceptional customer service and dining experience are delivered consistently. Monitor inventory, ordering, and staffing to optimise restaurant performance. Handle day-to-day operations, including scheduling, hiring new staff, training, and problem-solving. Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high food quality and efficiency. Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards across all restaurant activities. Relieving the Restaurant Manager (RM) during absences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Assisting the RM in resolving staff queries, assigning duties to staff, and addressing workplace concerns promptly and professionally. Monitoring customer feedback and restaurant performance reports to maintain and strengthen brand standards and guest satisfaction. Assisting in supplier selection, placing food and beverage orders. Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards in accordance with NZ regulations.
Job Requirements
Must be reliable and motivated. Well spoken and presented
- Days of work
- Shifts will be from Wednesday to Sunday. Timing will be between 2pm to 10pm. (35 hours per week)
