Flooring Installer

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Floor Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing laminate and glue-down timber flooring, including surface preparation, leveling, and finishing. You’ll be part of a professional team delivering high-quality flooring services for both residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install laminate and glue-down timber floors to a high standard. • Prepare and level concrete or timber subfloors. • Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials with precision. • Apply adhesives and finishes safely and efficiently. • Repair or replace damaged flooring as required. • Maintain a clean and safe workspace. • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members. • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and deadlines. • Good awareness of health and safety.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience in laminate, PlankVynl and glue-down timber installation. • Knowledge of floor preparation, leveling compounds, and adhesives. • Ability to read and follow plans or layout drawings. • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. • Good physical fitness (able to lift and handle flooring materials). • NZ Driver’s License and reliable transport preferred. • Must have the right to work in New Zealand.
