Experienced Civil Labourers

We are on the search for someone with a proven track record and knowledge in the civil industry to work within one of our civil teams at our Pauatahanui Branch.

We have a strong focus on getting the right fit within our team, as our people are the most important part of our business.

Duties include: • Assist with setting out, grading, and preparing work areas. • Operate or assist with small plant and equipment (e.g., plate compactors, jackhammers, rollers). • Support installation of underground services (e.g., drainage, sewer, water pipes, conduits). • Help with concrete works — mixing, pouring, and finishing as directed. • Maintain clean and safe work areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures. • Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around the site. • Follow instructions from the site supervisor or foreman and work effectively

To be considered for the role PCL are looking for someone that has:

• Reliable transport to and from work with a full licence • Have an intermediate level of experience in civil works • A good understanding of best practice and be Health and safety minded • Good physical fitness with ability to carry out manual handling tasks • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed to a quality standard • Be drug free and undertake pre-employment screening • MOJ case by case
