Construction Plant Operator
About this job
We’re looking for an experienced Construction Plant Operator to join our team.
We deliver a variety of projects, including land development, streetscapes, rail and marine, and are looking for excavation experience to help us dig in.
Duties include: • Assist with a diverse range of construction, renewal and maintenance project across Wellington Region • Operate machinery including excavators, rollers, graders and trucks and use of hand tools from time to tome • Ensuring efficient use of materials, suppliers and equipment • Transport, load and unload machinery to and from sites
Job Requirements
• Full Class 1 drivers’ licence with WTR (Class 2 is preferrable) • At least 3 years’ experience operating excavators (experience with other heavy machinery is beneficial) • Safe, competent and confident operations around services and in tight urban spaces • Civil construction industry experience, especially working around live services.
