One of the leading local gifts and souvenir store in New Zealand is seeking a Retail Duty Manager to join their team.

Your Responsibilities: • Take charge of store operations while on duty, ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently. • Lead, mentor, and support the sales team, helping them to elevate their customer service skills. • Ensure the store is adequately resourced and stocked to meet customer needs. • Maintain high standards of store presentation and customer experience. • Be flexible and adaptable, working across varying shifts in our 7-day operation. The store opens from 9:30 am to 10 pm, so the ability to work across various shifts is essential.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For: • A minimum of 6 months of experience in management in the Retail Industry. • The ability to work flexible hours. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • The ability to coach a team of people and promote sales. • A proactive approach to building strong customer relationships. • The ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. • A natural leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others.

Days of work
On a roster including weekends. Store opens from 9 to 11pm - availability to work different shifts required. (40 hours per week)
