Busy cafe is seeking 2 Kitchenhands, who will share rostered hours: - Assist cooks with basic food preparation such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes - Wash, clean, and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations - Manage dishwashing and ensure availability of clean crockery and cutlery - Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with hygiene standards - Restock supplies and ingredients as needed during service - Support kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth workflow - Follow health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE - Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to supervisors
Job Requirements
Must have some kitchen experience, such as: - knife skills for food prep - dishwashing & organisational skills OR any relevant qualification, including Food Safety, and have the ability to pick up skills quickly. * Be able to pass police check and drug test

- Monday - Sunday 7:30am - 3:30pm Hours shared according to roster, with 30 - 40 h/wk each Will include weekend work (30 hours per week)
