We’re on the lookout for a meticulous and dependable CSSD Technician to join our team in Paraparaumu. If you have a keen eye for detail and secretly enjoy seeing things sparkling clean, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities: Clean, disinfect, inspect, pack, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, strictly following AS/NZS 4187 standards (yes, your friends might call you a germ-fighting ninja!).
Handle and reprocess endoscopic equipment, making sure every piece meets infection prevention protocols.
Keep accurate records and tracking of instruments and sterilization cycles, because every button pressed and tray wrapped matters.
Collaborate with the Endoscopy and Ophthalmology teams to ensure sterile equipment is ready when they need it. Timing is everything!
Conduct quality checks on all sterilization processes and equipment to maintain top-notch standards.
Uphold strict infection control and workplace safety standards, because safety isn’t optional, it’s essential.

Job Requirements
About You:
You ideally hold a Certificate Level 4 in Sterilisation Services—but if you don’t, don’t worry! We value attitude and aptitude as much as paperwork.
Previous experience in a CSSD environment (especially Endoscopy or Ophthalmology) is a bonus, but if you’re keen to learn, we’ll train the right person.
You have a solid understanding of infection control practices and sterilization standards—you know that clean isn’t just neat, it’s life-saving.
Attention to detail is your superpower, whether you’re working solo or as part of a busy multidisciplinary team.
You’re flexible and reliable, ready to tackle tasks Monday to Friday with a can-do attitude.
Communication and time-management skills? Check and double-check! You can coordinate, collaborate, and keep everything running smoothly without breaking a sweat.
Must be able to pass MOJ check, no previous convictions.
