A well-established shearing business based in Western Southland is currently seeking five experienced senior woolhandlers to join the team for the upcoming season. Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years’ woolhandling experience in commercial shearing sheds - Proven ability to maintain high-quality standards and support shed operations - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Full driver’s licence (required to drive the team van) Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support woolhandling activities, including shed setup and clean-up - Sort wool on the board and assist with pressing as needed - Mentor junior woolhandlers and contribute to a safe, efficient working environment - Lead the team and monitor quality - Liaise with farmers to ensure shed requirements are met and respected
