Commercial Cleaning and Maintenance Worker

A busy maintenance and cleaning business is seeking reliable and hardworking General Workers/Cleaners to join their team. This is NOT a typical commercial cleaning job. This role involves site maintenance and commercial/industrial cleaning, with flexibility required for day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities: • Perform cleaning and general maintenance tasks at commercial buildings and sites. • Follow site-specific requirements and safety protocols • Occasionally assist with urgent call-out jobs (next day off provided if switching from day to night shift) • Ensure punctuality and maintain a strong work ethic • Use PPE and equipment provided by site leads

What You’ll Need: • Physically fit and capable of labour work • Availability for day and night shifts (rostered, no back-to-back unless urgent) • Reliable transport to travel to sites (some CBD sites accessible by public transport) • Cleaning or general labour experience preferred • EWP and height tickets advantageous • Excellent communication skills (English) • Able to pass drug testing and have a clean MOJ check
