We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Placement Specialist to join our Wellington team.
What you will do:
• Continuously coach, guide, mentor and motivate candidates to move into employment. • Cold call employers in industries suitable to our clients. • Partner with employers, develop relationships and identify job opportunities. • Screen applicants, conduct assessments to guide them towards suitable employment outcomes. • Have and develop strong understanding of the local job market, employment trends and opportunities. • Review CV’s and applications to identify potential candidates for interviews. • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. • Provide feedback and guidance to candidates to improve their chances of securing job placements. • Conduct interviews and assessments to match candidates with suitable job openings. • Coordinate with other team members to share job leads and resources to support successful job placements. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and job placements.

Job Requirements
• Proven experience in employment placement. If you can’t demonstrate this ability, please don’t apply. • The drive and passion to make a difference. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and employers. • Excellent and well-rounded communication and interpersonal skills. • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills. • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with a diverse client base. • Detail-oriented and able to work with a high level of accuracy. • Self-motivated and target/outcome driven. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Employment training and or social services experience will be advantageous. • An ability to connect, support, and encourage people across all ages, backgrounds and cultures. • MUST hold a clean Full Class 1 Driver Licence and be willing to undertake a Ministry of Justice check.
