Courier Driver
About this job
As a courier driver, the key responsibilities are: + Safely drive and operate a courier vehicle to deliver parcels to customers across designated routes + Ensure all deliveries are completed on time, in good condition + Load and unload parcels in a safe and efficient manner + Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience + Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly + Compliance: Follow all road safety rules and company policies. + Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications: + Full, clean New Zealand driver’s license - Class 1 minimum + Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure + Outstanding customer service skills with a professional attitude + Ability to lift and carry parcels of varying weights + Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude + A passion for safe driving and maintaining high safety standards
Must also be able to pass an MOJ check and drug test.
