Dairy Farm Assistant
About this job
This farm is located on the outskirts of Taupiri. You will be milking 900 hundred cows in 2 herringbone sheds 34 aside and 40 aside on a 370 hectare farm. Duties will consist of milking twice a day, shifting cows and feeding, fencing, weed control, calving, calf rearing , shed cleaning and set up. Alert Managers and identifying sick cows, setting fencing and other general farm duties.
Job Requirements
Must be able to pass a Drug Test Must be able to pass a Police check. No criminal convictions Must has a minimum of a Restricted Driver's Licence and own transport Shared accommodation available. A solo 2, 3 or 5-bedroom house is included No pets, not smoking or vaping The rental will be $5200.00 per annum and will be deducted from wages.

- Work hours are between 4.30am to 5.00pm with meal and rest breaks. Rostered over 8 days on and 2 days off. (40 hours per week)
