Front Desk Agent
About this job
Hotel in Auckland CBD requires a Front Desk Reception person. Duties include:
- Maximize Rooms revenue on shift through upselling of rooms and facilities. - Maximize Food and Beverage revenue through cross selling - Meet monthly IHG Rewards Club enrolment targets. - Take ownership and follow up on in-house dummy accounts - Maintain security of hotel's floats and keys - Ensure accuracy is maintained when processing cashiering transactions Monitor and control stock. - Ensure the Cash Handling Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Hotels is strictly adhered to. - Promote teamwork and quality service Actively participate in required training sessions - Adhere to brand standards Perform detailed shift handover - Attend and participate in daily briefings - Communicates to his/her supervisor any difficulties with service follow complaint handling procedures for prompt resolution of challenges - Ensure guests are provided with prompt service - Respond appropriately to guest complaints - Build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers
