Truck driver Class 2

Location: Auckland, New Zealand Job Type: Full-time Days: 5 days per week Hours: Between 4:00 AM and 10:00 PM (varied start and finish times) Hourly Rate: $28.50 – $34.50 (based on experience and performance)

About the Role We are looking for experienced and reliable Truck Drivers to join our growing team in Auckland. This full-time role involves the safe and efficient transport of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with all safety standards and company procedures. You will be responsible for operating Class 2 trucks, managing loading and unloading activities, and maintaining clear communication with dispatchers and clients. Key Responsibilities • Manoeuvre vehicles into position for loading and unloading. • Load and unload goods using lifting and tipping devices. • Observe safety requirements when loading and unloading. • Conduct regular quality and safety checks of vehicles. • Estimate and distribute load weights safely. • Ensure goods are securely stowed to prevent loss or damage. • Verify loading documents and obtain certification of deliveries. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients. • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

• Skills & Attributes: o Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards o Excellent navigation and GPS familiarity o Strong communication and interpersonal skills o Physically fit with the stamina for long-distance driving and manual tasks o High attention to detail and commitment to safe, timely deliveries o Flexible to work irregular hours and weekends when required

• Experience: 2–4 years as a Truck Driver or similar role • Licence: Class 2 (Medium Rigid Vehicle Licence) • Pre-employment Checks: Drug test and Ministry of Justice background check required
