About this job
Bus drivers needed: To safely and efficiently transport berry pickers to and from designated picking blocks within the farm property. The driver plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations by maintaining punctual, reliable, and safe transportation for all workers.
Key Responsibilities: • Safely transport pickers between accommodation areas, packing sheds, and designated picking blocks within the farm. • Operate company buses or vans in accordance with farm rules and road safety regulations. • Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues or damage immediately. • Follow assigned transport schedules and communicate any delays or issues to the supervisor.
Split shifts: Monday to Saturday 5am - 8pm with a mid day split shift break of several hours taken Must not have holidays outside of statutory hols or Sundays
Job Requirements
To be successful for this role you must have: • Commercial driving experience • Full licence, P endorsement • Comfortable working outdoors in summer • Good level of fitness • Clear verbal communication • Pass pre-employment MoJ and drug test • Ability to commit to split shifts
