Production Manager
About this job
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead the team and optimise the manufacturing operations across our two sites. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of our juice and puree ingredients and Co-packing bottling operations. Implementing continuous improvement and fostering a positive team culture. Operating across two sites with the ability to adapt to variety as seasons change.
Job Requirements
Proven experience in a Production Management or similar leadership role within the food or manufacturing industries.
Knowledge & practical experience in implementing and maintaining company compliance programmes. A formal HACCP qualification is a distinct advantage
Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams across multiple locations.
Strategic thinker, pragmatic, problem-solving approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
Proficient computer skills in Excel and Word.
The flexibility to travel regularly between our two production sites.
Self-motivated taking pride in maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment.
Ideally hold a Forklift OSH certificate and F endorsement.
Hold a Full New Zealand drivers licence.
- Days of work
- Depending on the season we are extracting in. Generally between a 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Some weekends maybe required (40 hours per week)
