Our employer in Malvern is gearing up for our busy season and are putting together motivated teams at our modern processing plant near Christchurch to help get NZ sheep and beef from our backyard to customers plates. No prior experience necessary as training is provided, you simply need to be keen for some hands-on work as part of a motivated crew! Reliable and hard working with a positive attitude, you know if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right. Plus, you'll like to keep fit and healthy and seek a workplace where it's all go. We're building teams to fill a wide range of roles. You could be out in the stockyards or in the cold-stores, a butcher, boner, machine operator or labourer - wherever works best. We'll bring you up to speed right there on the job, so you can learn while you earn!
We are seeking applicants for a variety of processing roles for our night shift: Sunday - Thursday 3:30pm - 12:00am
Successful applicants must: • always put safety first • be keen to learn new skills • be able to work on a night shift roster including weekends • enjoy working in a diverse team

Job Requirements
Must have no criminal convictions Must be drug-free (pre-employment drug screening required) ACC check will be conducted Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 27kg Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments Must be able to work in environments that may be noisy and have strong or unpleasant smells Comfortable working around meat and meat products Previous industry experience not required, but must be prepared to start immediately and willing to take on physically demanding work Strong focus on health and safety Willing to learn new skills
