Food & Beverage Supervisor - 5 star hotel in Auckland CBD The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple outlets within the hotel, including:

FISH Restaurant – Breakfast, lunch, and dinner service

Bellini Bar – All-day outlet

Banqueting – Events ranging from 10 to 350 guests

This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and adherence to brand standards while leading and supporting a high-performing team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day Food and Beverage operations across all outlets.

Communicate and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring the team operates with the guests’ best interests in mind.

Ensure compliance with all brand standards and service protocols.

Take full responsibility for the execution of functions and events across outlets, ensuring flawless delivery and guest satisfaction.

Manage guest queries promptly and professionally, maintaining a strong customer service focus.

Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members to enhance performance and engagement.

Support the Food and Beverage Management team in achieving financial and operational targets.

Assist with team training and development, including service standards, food and beverage knowledge, and upselling techniques.

Contribute to administrative functions such as rostering, payroll, and financial reporting.

Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and effective cross-functional support.

Job Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience within the Food & Beverage department in a 4 - 5 star hotel Experience in different F&B outlets - Banqueting, Restaurant, and Bar Fulltime and flexible availability Able to work weekends and public holidays Experience in POS ordering systems and cashing up It will be beneficial if you have the following: WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) certification LCQ or Managers Certificate
