Located in Tapora (approximately 1 hour from Warkworth North Auckland) We are a family-owned horticultural business seeking two Machinery Operators to join our team. A reputable horticulture employer is looking for a tractor driver - orchard mowing.

Responsibilities: ● Communicating with the Operations Manager and Orchard Manager on a daily basis to plan, prioritise and assign work tasks. ● Ensuring that all assigned tasks are undertaken in a manner that is safe, efficient and compliant. ● Reporting any issues with machinery and/or equipment to the Orchard Manager ● Ensuring that the orchard is kept clean, tidy and is a safe working environment.
Duties/tasks: ● Mowing/mulching ● Crop spraying ● Weed spraying ● Groundwork ● Harvest driver/Supervisor ● Forklift operation (during harvest) ● Other general orchard duties as required. ● Reporting all near misses, hazards and incidents.
Job Requirements
● Practical, reliable and efficient; ● Skilled in the safe and efficient operation of orchard-based machinery and equipment; ● Able to pass a drug/alcohol test; ● Holds a clean drivers licence; ● Holds a Forklift certificate (preferable); ● Holds a Growsafe certificate (preferable).
