Industrial Electrician

A large Tasman based horticulture business is looking for 2 X Industrial Electricians to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you are responsible for electrical maintenance, repair, testing, and installation of property and equipment on site. You will identify and undertake preventative electrical maintenance tasks to ensure the effective, safe, and efficient operation of work areas while minimizing downtime.
Job Requirements
The following skills, experience and qualifications are essential: • Current New Zealand Registered Electrician with a valid practicing licence as mandated by the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB). • Proven experience with industrial and commercial electrical maintenance and repairs. • Strong background in automation, controls, PLCs, motor starters, VSDs, and fault-finding. • Full NZ Drivers Licence. • Up-to-date knowledge of AS/NZS electrical standards and NZ electrical safety regulations. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work autonomously or collaboratively. • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills. • Positive, proactive attitude with a team player mindset.
