Duty Manager - All Rounder

Bar & Restaurant located in Whangarei CBD, requires a Bartender all rounder to join the team immediately. Required to work directly with customers by serving drink orders, with additional responsibilities including, verifying age requirements, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies etc. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously, is reliable, friendly, customer focused, personable, have a great attitude, present very well, be able to manage intoxicated people and de-escalate situations should they arise, and have excellent communication skills. Duties also include greeting customers (FOH). Establishment is open 7 days a week. Duty Managers Licence is highly desirable. Will look at LCQ with six months minimum experiences in the industry.

You need to have worked in a similar role previously. Either Bar or FOH past experience. Reliability is key. Need to have a minimum of a Restricted licence and your own transport in not having to rely on others to get too and from work. Team player is key and being able to fit into a family orientated business and share those same values. Pre-employment drug test is not required however you will be contractually obligated to undertake random tests when and if requested.
