Duty Manager/Bartender

An opportunity for a Duty Manager/Bartender is available at a popular bar and restaurant in East Auckland. Duties will include:

* Proven ability to work all aspects of the floor and bar * Creation of seasonal cocktail and wine lists * Organize and coordinate operations * Train staff * Maintain high levels of customer service * Keeping the front-of-house immaculately clean and organized at all times * Manage everyday operations * Maintaining stock levels * Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards * Review and prepare reports for Senior Management * Maintain accurate records of incidents, including those involving alcohol or violence * Ensure the premises complies with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and other relevant legislation * Ensure the premises complies with the conditions of its license.

This position will start in a casual capacity with the potential to move to permanent for the right candidate, once you have proven yourself over a few months.

* Right to work in New Zealand * Able to pass pre-employment checks (medical if required, drug test and a MOJ check) * NZ Driver Licence or reliable transport to get to work punctually. * At least 2 years proven practical experience in such a position. * A GM certificate is necessary however if you do not have one, this can be discussed to obtain one but you need to then hold a LCQ certificate. * Exceptional customer service skills * People and team leader with proven experience managing conflicts, teamwork and ensuring the smooth flow of the restaurant operations * Experience making cocktails and drinks; familiar with bar functions.
