We’re looking for a Full-Time Restaurant Manager to lead our passionate front-of-house team and help deliver an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.

About the Role As our Restaurant Manager, you’ll play a key role in daily operations, from leading staff and ensuring service excellence, to managing rosters, stock, and financial reporting. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Owner to maintain high standards, drive efficiency, and continuously improve the guest experience.

This is a hands-on leadership position in a busy, high-performing restaurant. We’re a supportive and hardworking team that values professionalism, passion, and a bit of fun along the way.

What You’ll Do • Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service • Oversee daily operations, including reservations, service standards, and floor management • Manage rosters, budgets, and stock levels • Liaise with suppliers and verify invoices and deliveries • Conduct monthly stocktakes and prepare financial performance reports • Support the Head Chef with menu planning and food cost management • Recruit, train, and coach staff to build a strong, high-performing team • Maintain compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 • Ensure the restaurant and bar areas are clean, safe, and well-presented • Manage bookings and coordinate private functions or events • Promote the restaurant in the community and support marketing initiatives

Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring • Minimum 3 years’ hospitality management experience (local or overseas) • Duty Manager Certificate and Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) required • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills • Proven ability to manage budgets, rosters, and stock effectively • A passion for exceptional food, beverage, and service • Eligibility to work in New Zealand (Resident, Citizen)
