Got a knack for fixing things before anyone else even notices they’re broken? A large, local Resort/Hotel is looking for a friendly, hands-on Hotel Handyperson / DIYer to keep the place looking sharp, safe, and running smoothly. No two days are the same — one day you’ll be painting a guest room, the next you’ll be tightening a loose handle or helping the team with a quick repair. You’ll be the go-to person for all things maintenance, from small fixes to keeping the grounds looking their best. Job Requirements
The ideal person should have: Practical experience fixing and maintaining property interiors and exteriors A valid full (Class 1) drivers licence - you will be using various maintenance vehicles on the resort grounds Good oral communication skills and people skills Sound knowledge of Health and Safety standards Fit and able to use ladders, carry out some heavy lifting Able to safely use maintenance work tools Pass a Ministry of Justice Check Pass a pre employment drug test
