About this job
Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers or deliver rental vehicles to designated locations. Use mobile computer systems and radio networks to log in, manage passenger bookings, and coordinate vehicle movements. Pick up passengers from designated locations, taxi ranks, or when hailed, and transport them to their requested destinations. Plan and determine the most appropriate routes for passenger transport or vehicle delivery using navigation systems and local knowledge. Assist passengers with luggage and provide basic instructions on vehicle features and operation. Collect fares, process payments, and issue receipts where applicable. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, checking fuel levels, cleanliness, Tyres, lights, and general condition. Refuel, clean, and return vehicles to the branch or depot after use. Report any vehicle damage, maintenance issues, or incidents to the branch manager or fleet supervisor. Send CV to adrian.farrell002@msd.govt .nz
