Dairy Farm Worker
About this job
Inspect and report on the condition of livestock; provide livestock with feed and water; assist with maintaining the health and welfare of oflivestock musters and drive livestock to milking and between paddocks to ensure sufficient feed is available; washes and clean udders, attach milking machines, milks cows and clean milking sheds. Weed control and general farm maintenance Assist in mending fences Following all health and safety policies Physically fit to push cows to get them into position. Works outdoors and in dairy milking sheds. Works in all weather, often for long hours and carries out a wide range of seasonal animal health care tasks and general farm tasks. Carries out milking both early in the morning and late afternoon. Must be drug-free.
Job Requirements
Experience in riding a 2 wheeler & 4 wheeler is preferred but will give training for the suitable candidate.
