Front of House - East Tamaki

A popular Sushi restaurant in East Tamaki is looking for a friendly and reliable Front of House team member to join their team. Applicants must have good knowledge of Japanese cuisine and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

In the role you will: - Greet and seat guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere - Take customer orders and deliver food promptly and accurately - Maintain clean and well-presented dining areas and table settings - Supervise waiting staff and support smooth service operations - Serve guests to the restaurant's standards and maintain a comfortable dining environment - Monitor and replenish beverage and condiment stock levels - Set tables for incoming guests with attention to detail - Liaise with suppliers and oversee inventory control - Assist in training new team members - Perform other duties as reasonably required by the employer

- At least 1-year experience in a Front of House or hospitality role - Well-versed with the Japanese menu and cuisine - Available to work lunch and evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Organised, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to pass a Drug test and a Ministry of Justice check
